Mr. Jeet Singh Mann is a highly accomplished legal scholar, academician, and researcher, currently serving as the Director of the Centre for Transparency and Accountability in Governance at National Law University, Delhi (NLUD). With over two decades of academic and research experience, Mr. Mann has spearheaded several prestigious, government-funded projects focused on access to justice, legal aid, and governance reform, significantly shaping the landscape of empirical legal research in India.

He has spoken at prestigious institutions including the National University of Singapore (NUS), Seoul National University, Peking University, Kuwait International Law School, and Tribhuvan University, Nepal.

In 2018, Mr. Mann was invited by the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Personnel, Pension, Grievances & Law and Justice to present his empirical research on legal aid services in India. His involvement with the Bar Council of India (BCI) as a member of a special inspection committee for law institutions further demonstrates his commitment to enhancing legal education standards in the country.

In addition to his academic pursuits, Mr. Mann has been actively involved in legal practice, particularly focusing on RTI and Service Law. His notable legal cases include Master Rajat Mann v. GGSIP University (2015) and J S Mann v. NLU Delhi (2018, 2021), J S Mann vs. NLIU Bhopal- MP State Information Commission (July, 2023) and NLIU Bhopal vs. State Information Commission and JS Mann (Sept, 2023).
